  7. I am jumping the gun with this one, but I tried AnTuTu (it must be wrong) but I am getting 38400 mark ...
  8. Update, swapped to use the aml_autoscript update file from rozak's 2.0.1 4GB ROM and updated again and just like that we have a working Android install :-) Just been using youtube which i had massive stuttering issue (even when buffered), and that is no more :-)

You move fast Stane1984 :-) I have a v3 version of the tablet, when loading the ROM without the aml_autoscript, it goes into a flashing boot loop. eg. shows the little android logo, then moves to big android logo, reloads and goes straight to big android logo, rinse and repeat until I stopped it. I hooked up the UART to see what is going on and got the below (looks like I have faulty NAND also too) It does not go any further than the end of the page, guess something went wrong somewhere. Hope this helps you in your debugging.   11. Hi SciBee, Which version of the tablet have you tested this kernel on? I have v3 in case you want to test against it. It looks like Slickwilly is correct, thermal shutdown, the S802 guys have had a similar issue by the sound of it (noticed it as a change) http://www.freaktab.com/archive/index.php/t-14779.html Maybe try compile kernel against a different version of the source from Amlogic and see how it goes. SciBee, FYI only difference between v1 and v2 software from a dtd file point of view is the below block. bt-dev { compatible = "amlogic,bt-dev"; dev_name = "bt-dev"; status = "disabled"; gpio_reset = "GPIOX_20"; }; Status on a v1 is 'disabled', on v3 its 'ok'. I would have assumed more would have changed between the two releases but thats all as far as diff is concerned.
  13. thats good news stane1983, hope you find it easy to hack :-) I have been trying to have a play with compiling linux, but my skills are pretty low, got a semi compiled kernel going but nothing ready to copy over to the tablet yet ... life gets in the way also as it is for most people. Still plugging away though in hope for some breakthroughs to be made.

  15. FYI, I checked to see if we could tftp boot using the stock uboot image, however those features have not been enabled so we are left to using sd cards for the time being.
