Hi sanchits, I have purchased and installed a 128GB class 10 microsd and it works perfectly. Check it out on Ebay: Item 161295759884 Cheers - Adam

    V975i rooted

I know there are no custom roms, the only reason I rooted it was to get rid of unwanted apps. Haven't tried 1.06 yet, but my guess is that it won't affect the root status.

    V975i rooted

Okay, I've rooted it. Thanks to gabri85 on the v819i forum. Here's what they did... and it worked like a charm... woohoo!!! Posted 07 June 2014 - 06:17 I've found a working method to root our tablets updated to v1.0.3, just download the following file: https://mega.co.nz/#...E7frDaeYPthnsIw Flash it with the "Update" app that can be found in the app grid, selecting "Local Update". Enjoy it Cheers - Adam

    v1.0.3 finally rooted

Thanks gabri85, I just used this to root my v975i and it works perfectly. I have informed people on the v975i forum and given you all the credit. Well done and thank you. Cheers - Adam

  7. Hi all, I have attempted to get root with SRS Root and Cydia Impactor. Neither of these worked. I'll keep looking. If anyone else has had any luck, please let us all know. Thanks. Cheers - Adam
  8. Thanks Nemesis, I'll see what I can do with it. I've also found people with the teclast (telcast?) and instructions for rooting... I've been vary wary though, don't want to bugger it up... Cheers - Adam
  9. Hi all, just wanted to update everyone on my quest to get root... vroot doesn't work, in fact, it appears to do diddly. So, I'm still on the lookout to find a way to root an intel android tablet. Cheers - Adam
  10. Thanks Nemesis, I'll look into vroot. I think there's an issue with having one of the first intel android devices, and that is, nobody has done much with/for them at this stage. And no, I haven't noticed any change in the brightness of the screen. Cheers - Adam
  11. Yep, following the steps as suggested by RobV work well. I updated to v1.05 yesterday, and apart from having to change the language back to english and reloading all my apps and settings, there is no problem. I think the battery issue is fixed, it seems to be at this stage. I'm just looking forward to being able to root so I can install a custom ROM once they become available. Can't wait to be able to get rid of all those crappy apps that I have no idea what they do.
