At first stage.... This tread is about ROOT ! there is another tread for bios... and your question will be removed/ moved into correct place. My advice may not work for you, and I don't take responsibility for any damage on your device, BTW is not recommended to dig in to bios and make changes, unless you know and are aware of what can happen Blint bios reset > : 1 power off your obook 2 plug otg with usb keyboard/ the magnetic one doesn't work well in bios/efi 3 power on your obook and press few times ESC 4 now we assume and hope that we are in bios 5 press 5x arrow down 6 hit enter ( to enter main bios setting ) 7 hit F9 ( load option default ) 8 hit ENTER ( confirm yes ) and prey hope this will work, if not, please don't quote this post more and more... send me personal message instead so we don't have hundred spams for one question. regard D!@bl0 Please hit the THANKS button if I helped you! 4. oBook 20 Plus root?

for flashing the obook with android you need only switch your obook in fastboot mode, plug usb, fastboot oem unlock and then flash with intel flashing tool... in my experience the toolkit will sort the rest. what you mean twrp for normal mode? i dont understand the question ! Windows... as i mention... I DONT DO WINDOWS !!! I hate windows os... that mean no windows support from me... This are the main sources for research your interest... http://www.google.co.uk , http://www.baidu.com , http://itools.com/tool/google-translate-web-page-translator Please hit the THANKS button if I helped you! Thanks
  5. ROM backups & custom recoveries

As far as I know the boot.img need to be compiled to let it boot in TWRP unfortunately the process is baidu and lot of hours research and translating. if you wish to experiment at your own risk, you can flash the boot.img from my drive. but it is for obook20plus https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7bzuJLiWwaHLWlVcTJSZGxTV2M and if you really wanna try that get a full android for your obook first before you start experiment in case something will go wrong.
  6. Onda oBook 20 SE

make sure you have downloaded remix for 20se in case something goes wrong !!!
  7. oBook 20 Plus root?

Off course the windows will find the partition in unknown format, some android partition are unknown even in linux... if you with to get android back in order you will need to flash all again first android and then windows as well... if you format one of the sensitive android partition, then you most likely need do a full flash. here is a link for customise the internal storage space here is a link where you can grab android. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7bzuJLiWwaHLWlVcTJSZGxTV2M but i don't do windows Good luck
  8. Broken Screen

Hi for the first question I'll recommend you get screen replacement kit and watch few tutorials on youtube how to replace screen on 10" tablet and then go a head and gently pop the screen of the edge, be care full that you don't go to deep and crack the LCD , once that done and the broken screen is off I recommend you to cut of the digitiser flex wire as close to the broken screen as you can. Simply do that as there is no subscribed where the digitiser wire goes, may you find it easy if not you may need to dissemble the the body and i don't know what else to get to the right connector... Good luck with that and if you can make video record or at least some pics apd post them in this tread for the later unlucky people who will need to deal with same problem later on... two: If you just wish to adjust the memory for the android..... follow:
  9. oBook 20 Plus root?

I don"t clearly understand your issue... can you still access the fastboot when you hold volume - down and power button ? if yes go download android from my drive or elsewhere on internet and flash for example with intel flashing tool
  10. oBook 20 Plus root?

Sorry for late respond, the files are in the ling bellow: TWRP: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B7bzuJLiWwaHLWlVcTJSZGxTV2M?usp=sharing REMIX OS : http://pan.baidu.com/s/1nuKdF77#list/path=%2F I will upload my flashing files on the google drive as soon as i find a way how to bought new charger for my macbook pro, where are stored all my android testing files. If here is some hero who have old charger for MBR and is not used I will be more than happy for it.. The tutorial is not OFF line but here is the necessary bits, please read carefully and let me notice: I DON'T TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR BRICK OR DAMAGE ON YOUR DEVICE TROUGH THE PROCES in android setting go to info and find build number and press the number roughly 15-20 times to enable: developer menu, there select usb debugging, and oem unlocked In the old tutorial i had to download some chinese software and change something in the boot.img to get the ability to root the device. WARNING: the new boot.img contain some script that during the boot the tablet take picture with face camera. I am not IT debug guru to fix that. but be aware of the camera at any times, i personaly have sticker on it If you don't wanna root the device there is also the oldboot.img download rename to boot.img and replace the files. I am using intel flashing tool on os x but there should be windows version just google select the flash.json hit flash after you successfully boot new remix os you can set up your details and what ever... YOU CAN SKIP THE SETTING AND GO ROOT use fastboot and flash the twrp.img after that you can download the latest supersu.zip and trough recovery flash the supersu. from my experience the flash make oem disabled and if you enable that in fastboot it will erase all user data so i need to repeat the process and download the supersu.zip again. the side load option doesn't work, also the native screen rotation is surprising, no touch in TWRP recovery you may need to use touchpad if you bought it with the obook or use otg and usb mouse to move trough the recovery. the twrp recovery which is good just for flash supersu. restore backup with twrp will brick the device, and keep bootlooping. hope this will work and happy rooting there is also some work and testing around with the root, if you interest message me.

  13. since you have android bootloader flashed on... can use intel flashing tool... and do blank install of android.
  14. I am not windows friendly user so i might help might not... remove the driver and install the driver again as proper admin or default admin user name, i had windows just few days before i erase and stick with android. if this doesn't work try to load the driver trough recovery mode
