  1. ive had a similar issue. when the tablet was on, i was only getting enough current to stop the battery level from dropping but not charging up. it was the usb cable itself that was to blame. tried a few cheap cables and everyone was the same, out of desperation i tried the usb cable that comes with the ps4 to charge the dualshock controller and hey presto, the current shot up to 1.9amp (my charger maxes out at 2.1amp) regardless if the tablet is on or off. if you got a ps4, try the controllers charge cable not sure if related but ive also found chargers with the "quick charge" feature wont get the higher currents either (EG: Sony Xperia chargers)
  2. USB charging whilst using USB

USB3 hub? does the v975w even support USB3 £6.29, otg and charge at the same time and its a lot more portable than the powered hubs posted above. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00SZNT0ZU?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00
  3. try holding the power button and either volume up or volume down at the same time.
  4. i had this issue, its selecting another keyboard as default and ignoring any others Control Panel/Devices and Printers. remove all keyboards from that screen, set up your bluetooth keyboard. May want to go back to Devices and Printers in the control panel and check your keyboard is there and set the region of it
  5. Odd problem. cant say ive had any issues with updates on windows 10. V3 model, 64gb Verbatim sd card
  6. if you have a ps4, use the charge cable for the dualshock 4. i get upto 1.9amps and as an added bonus, its a very long cable.
  7. first check your windows update. The icon for windows 10 didnt appear on my v975w because it wasnt a mandatory update. went into windows update and there it was unticked and not updated. tick it, update. if that fails. you can just download the update tool from the link below https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10 dont need to download the entire iso and burn disc or make bootable usb. i wouldnt worry about keys. MS activating every windows 10 at the moment even if its pirated. as for performance. i have to disagree with the other poster. My v975w is fantastic on windows 10. hate windows 10 on my pc and laptop but love it on my tablet.
  8. I much prefer it. for me the is a little to no difference between 8.1 and 10 when it comes to performance, battery life etc. The major improvement is the GUI, windows now works as a tablet OS, tablet mode works OK but the scaling on normal desktop mode is so much more usable on a touchscreen. i always felt that you still needed a mouse to use 8/8.1 properly. not anymore, Just need the windows appstore to take off and i can finally ditch my ipad and use my v975w for everything.
  9. I have noticed similar. My bluetooth keyboard was always ok but my bluetooth mouse would constantly disconnects under windows 8. although it still does it under windows 10, its no way near as common.
  10. Updated your drivers again. My camera stopped working (blackscreen when in the camera app). just reinstalled the drivers from this site, restart, fixed
  11. WTS Onda v975w

lower the resolution and up the DPI (in display settings). it will make the screen items and font bigger and clearer. also a program built into most windows called "Magnifier" enlarge anything you put the mouse on
  12. it wasnt automatically downloaded on my v975w. went into windows update and it was an unticked optional update, seemed odd as it was a forced update on my pc and laptop.
  13. Onda v975w Cases

Majority of Ipad Air cases fit perfectly. just remember the button layout is a little different to the ipad and these Onda Tablets dont have the magnetic connection that some ipad case/covers require
  14. Charging

i dont get any charging icon when the tablet is turned off and on charge. it still charges though i can understand someone posting the question hoping for a quick answer, rather than reading through 6 pages of posts that may or may not have the answer. it took Robv longer to write that unhelpful post than a simple yes or no to your question.
  15. Onda v975w Cases

yeah am made up with mine. Battery life is very good as well coupled it up with this mouse http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00O9LU3DK?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00 even with bluetooth mouse and bluetooth keyboard running, am still getting very good battery from my tablet fantastic tablet and now a fantastic netbook/laptop as well. seriously doubt i could get a laptop/tablet hybrid that could outperform this for the same money.
